My son started training with Coach Zander when he was in 8th grade. He was late starting the sport and Coach Zander was able to put the skating and stick handling pieces of the sport together for him. Coach Zander made it fun, as well as challenging, and my son was able to improve his skills quickly. As a matter of fact, he made the High School Hockey team! Shortly after that my youngest son started taking lessons with Coach Zander, as well. I have been nothing but impress with Coach Zander's training and techniques and his relatability to his students. [Coach Z] is very missed at The Ice House. [My son] has used his skills [Coach Z] taught him and has had so much success on the ice. [Coach Z] coached him to use both feet while skating, and [my son] now flies across the ice! [My son] has grown a couple inches in height and is now able to do the crossovers [Coach Z] taught him! We take [my son] to open ice when [his brother] is not available and he tells us "I'm going to practice what Coach Z taught me!"
